We want to build a movement with you. The Southwest Defense Network is a collective response to a common problem. We are a volunteer network that uses collective action to support our fellow workers’ struggles around job, housing and other problems. We believe that fighting back together is the only way to improve our lives. We are not a charity, non-profit organization, or legal aid, although man
y of us have experience with these issues. Through solidarity with others in our community, we can begin to address these problems directly and build a community that empowers and defends its own. La Red De Defensa Del Suroeste es una respuesta colectiva a un problema común. Somos una red de voluntarios que utiliza la acción colectiva para apoyar a nuestros compañeros de trabajo luchando por empleo, la vivienda, y otros problemas. Creemos que luchando juntos es la única manera para mejorar nuestras vidas. No somos una organización benéfica, organización sin fines de lucro, o ayuda legal, a pesar de que muchos de nosotros tenemos experiencia con estos temas. A través de la solidaridad con otros en nuestra comunidad, podemos empezar a confrontar estos problemas directamente y construir una comunidad que da poder y defiende a sí mismo.
