Janiya Baker, a 15-year-old from Homestead, Florida, has made history as the first Miami-Dade student to jump from 9th to 12th grade in a year! Excelling academically with the highest GPA in her class while serving as class president and varsity cheerleader, Janiya’s hard work and determination shine. Next, she’s heading to Florida International University to major in business and join the cheer squad.
