Don't miss Aldine's 7th Annual Fall Festival on Thursday, October 29th, 5 -7PM We will also have a new haunted house setup, face painting, and don't forget the trick or treating! IT’S OFFICIAL: LAUFEY IS COMING TO HCPL! ✨

We’re celebrating A Very Laufey Day on August 23 with something special: a limited-edition Laufey Book Club x HCPL library card!

Ahead of Library Card Sign-Up Month in September, HCPL is joining Laufey and libraries around the world for this year’s “A Celebration of the Arts," an initiative to bring fans together through books, libraries, museums, live performances and indie bookstores.

Here's how you can get your own card:
Registrations will be online and open at 12:00 AM on Sunday, August 23 and will remain open until 11:59 PM that same day, or while supplies last.

Our Laufey Card is:
-FREE for new and existing HCPL cardholders
-Available to Texas residents
-Available for pick up at your selected HCPL location (at specified time)
-Special edition + limited time only!
