Mrs. Garza, our counselor, met with parents today to share a powerful presentation on brain states and how they impact children’s behavior and emotions. She walked families through the executive state, emotional state, and survival state, helping parents understand what each one looks like and how they can support their children through them. Parents learned practical ways to help children regulate their emotions, build self‑control, and develop the skills they need to be successful at school and at home. Mrs. Maslonka opened the library this morning for our families to learn all about Beanstack — a fun way for students to track their reading, earn badges, and build strong reading habits all year long.

Families also received math manipulatives to support counting skills and beginning‑of‑year math facts at home. It was a great opportunity for our Fox families to read and learn. 🦊✨

⚡️ 🦊All Pro Dad at Freeman Elementary!

This morning’s All Pro Dad Chapter Meeting focused on perseverance — the ability to keep going, even when things get tough. 💪

Our dads and their children built with Legos, connected with one another, and watched a video highlighting the power of perseverance. It was a meaningful reminder that when challenges come their way, our students can keep trying, keep learning, and never give up. 🌟

Thank you to all of our dads and male figures for showing up, connecting, and making these moments meaningful for their families.
Together, we are building strong families and confident Foxes! 🦊✨

A special thank you to Mr. Mendiola from All Pro Dad for joining us this morning and helping make today’s lesson on perseverance even more meaningful for our Fox Family.
