Rice University Young Democrats Welcome to the home of Democrats, progressives, and politically engaged students at Rice University. We are the ones we've been waiting for.

We register voters, connect students with quality internships, promote progressive activism, and coordinate with political campaigns to increase turnout. We support candidates in favor of social justice, economic progress, and a sustainable future. If you want to get updates on how Texas politics affects Rice, hear about upcoming campus events, or just meet other like-minded people, like Rice Young Democrats. RUYD is a student-run on-campus group that hosts meetings, comedy nights, public speakers and debates on the issues affecting Rice Owls.
