Happy to announce a project that we have been working on these past months. Partnering with galveston bay foundation to create the official jersey for bike around the bay 2021 cycling marathon! Featuring the beloved and very important redfish of the Galveston bay and greater Gulf of Mexico area. It was selected not only for its aesthetics, and being a prized fish for sports fisherman, but as a symbol for the extremely important habitat restoration work. The marsh and oyster restoration efforts provide habitat for fish, creating and restoring vital fisheries in Galveston bay.

Anyone can purchase a jersey and sign to ride at bikearoundthebay.org today! Be sure to place your order soon, the first primal jersey order deadline is 07/05/2021. Friends and Neighbors,
We are disappointed to announce that after careful consideration, we are postponing Wetland Walkabout 2021.

With strong winds, cold temperatures, and possible rain, an outdoor event in those conditions would not be particularly enjoyable for attendees, exhibitors, or our volunteers. Additionally, the conditions raise concerns about the safety of exhibitors setting up their displays. As a result, we have decided to delay the event to a future date (to be decided).

Exploration Green will remain open during daylight hours for the enjoyment of our visitors, but there will be no exhibits or conducted tours on Saturday. Please stay tuned for our rescheduled date, and stay warm this weekend!
