The Durham Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit association that prides itself on being a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for public education. Join us at the next meeting to stay informed, share your voice, and advocate for our students and schools.

Anyone wishing to speak must register in advance. Registration opens at least three business days before each meeting, and the deadline to register and submit materials is noon the day before the meeting.

There is no formal agenda or RSVP required—just low-key playground time.

We are officially in the final countdown to June 4th! 🗓️✨

Looking back, this school year brought its share of big transitions and heavy lifting, but it also proved just how resilient our community is. To every family who stuck with it, leaned in, and supported our students through thick and thin—THANK YOU. 🐾 Community isn’t defined by everything going perfectly. It’s defined by how we show up for each other when things get tough. Thank you for showing up.

An extra special shoutout to:
🍎 Our phenomenal teachers and staff, who poured their hearts into our classrooms every single day.
💙 Our hard-working PTA board and volunteers, who logged countless hours behind the scenes to support our school.

Whether your family is moving on to new adventures or returning to hold down the fort this fall, you are what makes Durham so special. Let’s finish this short week strong!

Mirando hacia atrás, este año escolar trajo consigo grandes transiciones y mucho esfuerzo, pero también demostró lo increíblemente fuerte que es nuestra comunidad. A cada familia que siguió adelante, se involucró y apoyó a nuestros estudiantes en las buenas y en las malas: GRACIAS. 🐾 La comunidad no se define porque todo salga perfecto.
