The mission of the Harris County Toll Road Authority (HCTRA) is to responsibly operate and maintain a safe, reliable, sustainable, and evolving mobility system that meets the diverse connectivity needs of all Harris County residents. HCTRA created this page to keep our customers and the general public informed about HCTRA mobility projects, EZ TAG program services, toll road closures due to construction or emergencies and additional relevant information about the Toll Authority. While everyone is welcome to comment on HCTRA status updates, this page is intended to be a venue for constructive conversation and informative updates. It is not designed to respond to complaints about toll roads, or to resolve toll violations and answer every question. HCTRA reserves the right to remove posts containing misleading information, profanity or threatening language.

There will be a nightly closure of the right northbound main lane on the East Sam Houston Tollway from Green Shadow to SH 225 exit ramp beginning Saturday, Oct. 3 at 6:30 p.m. through Friday, Oct. 16 at 5 a.m.

• The northbound Red Bluff entrance ramp will be open.

•The northbound SH225 exit ramp will also be closed.

• Traffic is directed to use Fairmont Pkwy., Spencer Blvd. or Pasadena/Red Bluff Exit ramp.

• Crews will be performing scheduled maintenance on the roadway.
