October 14 marks 100 years since A.A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh was published. The beloved stories follow Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and their friends in the Hundred Acre Wood, inspired by England’s Ashdown Forest.

CFISD is monitoring the weather from Tropical Depression Five in the Gulf. County officials have indicated the major impact will likely be south and east of I-45.
At this time, CFISD is planning for a regular school day on Tuesday, Sept. 1. Please monitor the CFISD website, social media channels and local news media in the event of any potential changes to the school day.
