🏠Four Houses. One Family. Endless Possibilities! 🏠

This week, Burnett Elementary kicked off something special with our first House Family Assembly Meetings of the year, hosted by Principal Lee!

Our students came together to learn more about what it means to be part of a House Family and to celebrate the values that will guide us throughout the year:

❤️ Responsibility 🐼 — doing what’s right
💙 Respect 🦬 — treating everyone with kindness
💚 Success 🐯 — working hard and achieving together
💛 Honesty 🦉 — telling the truth and building trust

These House Families are more than just colors—they’re about belonging, character, teamwork, leadership, and school pride. We can’t wait to watch our Beavers grow together and see what this year brings! 💙🦫💙

Our 3rd & 4th grade girls had an amazing time at their first Girls on the Run meeting! From building friendships and confidence to learning the importance of teamwork, these girls are already showing us that they are ready to run with purpose!

We can’t wait to see all the growth, laughter, encouragement, and miles ahead! Way to go, girls! 💙🦫💙

Last week, Ms. Diaz visited classrooms for her fun and meaningful “Our Counselor Wears Many Hats” lesson! Students learned about all the different roles a school counselor plays and how Ms. Diaz is here to support, encourage, listen, and help our students throughout their school journey.

🏫✨ Student Council Season is Here! ✨🏫

Ms. Diaz and Ms. Arnold met with our 3rd & 4th graders to talk all things Student Council!Students learned about the opportunity to represent their classmates, demonstrate leadership, and make a positive impact on our campus.

Class elections will be taking place soon, with one boy and one girl selected from each 3rd & 4th grade class. Students will be selected based on their outstanding grades, attendance, and behavior.

We’re excited to see our future student leaders step up and show us what it means to be a Burnett Beaver leader! 💙🦫💙
