“DESPITE OUR MESS-UPS, GOD WILL PICK US UP”
He shall not strive, nor cry, neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed shall he not break, and a smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory. And in his name shall the Gentiles trust. (Matthew 12:19-21)

Men and Women of God: The gospel singer Donnie McClurkin sang this song “We fall down but we get back up” it is a call to reason, a reckoning between man’s failure and God’s favor, between the ideology of not being perfect and the theology of being perfected! Let us remember that God knows our uprising and our downsizing, our thoughts before we even speak them and he knows that ultimately our flesh is but filthy rags before him. In despite all of that, God does not cover up our faulty, flawed fleshly mess-ups, he picks us up, cleans us up and than builds us up. The above scriptures reveals the resume of Jesus Christ concerning his calling and work for the salvation of man and the service of man! This is the Son of God, the Chosen servant, the anointed One; chosen to restore Israel and redeem the Gentiles. He is able to look beyond our faults and see our needs! Yes: we will mess-up, leaving bruises from our falls, flaws and failures, yes: we will be over zealous in our words, our worship and our works but God will neither break us so that we quit, or quench us that our fire to serve Him goes out. The truth is; God does not require a prerequisite that enlist only educated vessels or tall vessels, or short vessels, God is seeking only yielding vessels. Listen, not everyday is going to be a perfect day, but God is perfect everyday! The sun may not shine everyday, or the birds may not sing everyday, but God shows us his Love and his mercy to us everyday.

“THROUGH GOD’S HELP THERE IS HEALING FOR OUR HURTS”
Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? And wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts? Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies. (Psalm 108:11-13)

Men and Women of God: Life is full of twist and turns, full of sunny days and rainy days, full of logical happenings and illogical happenings! The word of God teaches that “God rains on the just and the unjust.” There are events that will occur in our life where we can follow the breadcrumbs and make sense out of the outcome, however there will be some occurrences in our life that leaves no breadcrumbs to follow and it makes absolutely no sense at all. The evils that lies within man’s heart toward his fellow-man is not the results of any happenstance, or an ill-fated alignment of the stars, it is the result of a fallen world, a world where man loves operating in darkness more than operating in Light! The above scriptures reflects on the individuals lamenting as well as on man’s national lamenting concerning duty and devotion, between friend and foe, and to direct the reader not only where to turn but to whom to turn. In the quiet hours of despair and in the furnace of affliction God will leave the light of hope on, God will remedy the lacked resources and turn victims into victors. Whatever your hurts, whatever situation has left you feeling callous or confused God has a band-aid to fit whatever size your boo-boos, he will give us victory over all of our enemies, if we remember our God is a very present help in times of trouble.

“CALLED TO WALK IN FAITHFULNESS NOT FALSENESS”
To have respect of persons is not good: for, for a piece of bread that man will transgress. He that hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye, and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him (Proverbs 28:21-22)

Men and Women of God: The word of God teaches us: “he who wants a friend must first show himself to be friendly” it is good to have a green thumb to know how to grow things, but it is not good to have “the green eye of jealousy” that only know how to dig up and to destroy. The Christian believer must embody and epitomes the very core for building up one’s character, commitment and
conviction whereby enhancing a community of crusaders for Christ! The above chapter implores it reader that having a clear conscience is a prerequisite for maintaining spiritual boldness and a confidence in living for Christ! The Christian faith is not a magic wand or a get rich quick scheme it is an internal cleansing, a purging of heart mind and body to be transformed into the newness of the righteousness of Christ. The above scriptures reminds every believer to do a self-evaluation concerning attitudes towards favoritism, having a respect of person, jealousy, having a spirit of greed or a spirit of procrastination, must not be moved more by a flattering tongue than by one who has a faithful tongue. God does not want us to wish for the worst even on our worst enemy. But, to stay faithful and prayerful, to have a green thumb for growing the worst of us. “Called To Walk In Faithfulness Not Falseness”
