In case you missed it, our beloved Philmont Scout Ranch in on fire. The whole middle section has been burned. Buildings in the Cimmaroncito Camp have been burned.

For those of us who are 62 or older. The US Parks Service is changing the cost for a Lifetime Senior Parks Pass as of August 28, 2017. As long as you are registered and have paid before then you will receive the pass. As of today it is at least a 3 month backlog but the paid receipt is suppose to suffice until the card is received..
