The TMC Library We are the Houston Academy of Medicine-Texas Medical Center Library - also known as The TMC Library. Serving the Texas Medical Center since 1949.

The staff of the TMC Library would like to extend a warm welcome to all faculty, residents, interns, fellows, and students from all the institutions in the Texas Medical Center (TMC). Whether you are a new student or are starting another year, the TMC Library has much to offer. The Library is dedicated to providing excellent collections and services in support of the research, education and patien

t care programs of the TMC and the Houston area. The TMC Library recently completed a major renovation. Please come see the changes. Library collections currently provide access to electronic journals, e-books, databases, and a small print collection on site.
