The Office of Recovery and Resilience at the City of Houston is working hard to promote the preservation of natural resources in local government and within Houston. Together, these documents provide a clear framework to foster the growth of a Houston that is both a healthy place to live, as well as an equitable, inclusive, and affordable city that leads in climate mitigation and adaptation and of

The City of Houston is closely monitoring the forecast and is prepared for the expected cold weather and possible precipitation. We’re coordinating with Mayor John Whitmire , the Houston Police Department, US National Weather Service Houston-Galveston Texas and other partners throughout the week to review response plans and ensure our city is prepared.
