BRUSH 53 - Delivered this week
Brush 53 is a specialized, maneuverable fire apparatus designed for off-road, wildland, and rural firefighting.
Its primary purpose is to access areas too rugged, tight, or steep for traditional fire engines, enabling firefighters to suppress grass fires, forest fires, and brush fires using onboard water tanks and pumps. This vehicle features high-clearance, 300 gallon water tank and front-mounted spray nozzles for mobile "pump-and-roll" fire. This unit is equipped with Class A foam system to assist in quickly extinguishing fires. Brush 53 will be housed at our new Sta. No. 5 currently being constructed on W. Lake Houston Parkway planned to open later in Fall 2026.
