We officially celebrated the grand opening of Avenue C, Harris County's newest affordable senior community! Located in Houston's vibrant, highly accessible East End Sector, this $41.6M development provides 120 affordable rental units designated for adults aged 55+. We are deeply grateful for the incredible coalition of partners and community leaders who turned this vision into a reality. Thank you, Harris County Precinct 2, New Hope Housing, Inc., Harris County Housing Finance Corporation, and all our dedicated partners who came out to celebrate this milestone.

Congratulations to our Harris County Transit-Rides Program for receiving the Transit Innovation Award from the Texas Transit Association-TTA. This recognition highlights a major milestone for the program, which became the second in the nation to partner with Uber Technologies to integrate same day service into its electronic fare system.

We celebrated the grand opening of The Carpenter, a transformative 76-unit affordable housing development located in Houston's historic Third Ward. This unique community is designed with dedicated services including case management, educational support, and access to childcare so that residents can complete post-secondary education. Additionally, the proximity to local universities and transit services is ideal.

We officially cut the ribbon on Park Row Katy Living! This exciting development will create 93 new multifamily housing units, including 58 affordable units that will help expand access to quality housing opportunities in the community.
