With freezing temperatures on the horizon, .action.street.health , , .htx , and .sra are partnering to collect and distribute donations as part of our Houston Area Disaster and Emergency Supply effort. Join us in redistributing materials to aid communities. HADES (Houston Area Disaster and Emergency Supply) is a new mutual aid network from Bayou Action Street Health, DSS, the Houseless Organizing Coalition, and the Houston Chapter of that combines our resources to more effectively respond to disasters and emergencies in Houston. We continue to witness neglect from the government in times of crisis, including lackluster responses to deadly events such as Hurricane Ida in S. LA, and the TX freeze. As our govt. doesn't intend to care for us as these disasters threaten our communities, HADES was formed because it's clear that we must work together to prepare and respond to these inevitabilities.
