CAFH members Hong, Yan, Yanming led by CAFH co-chair Paul Zhu from Maryland and Virginia went to York city PA canvassing for on October 26. The team gathered at the field office of Harris/Walz campaign at South York. After getting the list and necessary training, they went door knocking and voting leave dropping. Yanming has been an experienced canvasser since Obama campaign in 2008. This is a margin of effort race in PA. Great conversations to York city voters at their doors. While walking to the next door, a car stopped opening the window by a young lady smiling and shouting “Harris and Walz, go”. Another Dem voter with the Harris/Walz yard sign asked the volunteer if her neighbor can get a Harris/Walz yard sign as well. Most of PA York city voters are enthusiasm of democrat voters.

October 25 marked a historic day for Texas. U.S. presidential candidate Kamala Harris took a break from battleground states to join forces with superstar Beyoncé in Houston for a major rally themed “Reproductive Freedom.” The event, also supporting Texas Senate candidate Collin Allred, drew significant attention, highlighting Allred’s close competition with Ted Cruz. Held at Shell Energy Stadium, the rally saw 1.5 million registrations, with 30,000 gaining entry due to space limits. Ling Luo, founder of CAFH (Chinese Americans for Harris), led the Houston chapter to support Harris as the “background wall.”

Despite Texas’s reputation as a deep-red state, efforts from the Democratic Party have gradually turned parts of it purple. Yet, conservative forces remain strong, backing open carry gun laws, restricting reproductive rights, and implementing land purchase bans targeting Chinese residents.

In contrast, Houston, as a blue city in a red state, demonstrated unwavering support. Thousands of Harris supporters began lining up outside the stadium as early as 4 a.m., enduring the Texas heat with enthusiasm. As night fell, a sea of glowing wristbands lit up the stadium, creating a spectacular sight.

The rally featured speeches by women affected by Texas’s restrictive abortion laws and a powerful appearance by OB-GYNs, who criticized the impact of these laws on women’s rights and healthcare.

The event’s highlight was Beyoncé’s appearance. She officially endorsed Harris, emphasizing her support as a mother for protecting children from harmful laws. Beyoncé’s passionate remarks resonated with Harris’s stance on reproductive justice. She then introduced Vice President Harris to the stage.

Despite her demanding schedule, Harris delivered a powerful speech to the thousands in attendance, reaffirming her commitment to reproductive rights and addressing climate change and economic policies.

The CAFH team, invited as special “background wall” guests. They felt honored to participate in such a significant rally, witnessing the enthusiasm of Houston voters firsthand.

The rally’s atmosphere resembled a concert, with 90-year-old Willie Nelson and his band delivering a captivating performance. The event also underscored the importance of early voting, with record turnout reported nationwide. With only nine days until Election Day, voters are urged to cast their ballots and support Harris in protecting women’s rights.

When voting this election, here is a very simple fact to keep in mind. Almost all of Trump's 44 cabinet appointees (40 of them) will not endorse him. That's not including his vice president. The people who he selected, he appointed, he worked with, will not endorse him. That should tell you all you need to know.
Example sentiments:
1. His vice president, Mike Pence: “The American people deserve to know that President Trump asked me to put him over my oath to the Constitution. … Anyone who puts himself over the Constitution should never be president of the United States.”
2. His second attorney general, Bill Barr: “Someone who engaged in that kind of bullying about a process that is fundamental to our system and to our self-government shouldn’t be anywhere near the Oval Office.”
3. His second secretary of defense, Mark Esper: “I think he’s unfit for office. … He puts himself before country. His actions are all about him and not about the country. And then, of course, I believe he has integrity and character issues as well.”
4. His first secretary of state, Rex Tillerson: “(Trump’s) understanding of global events, his understanding of global history, his understanding of US history was really limited. It’s really hard to have a conversation with someone who doesn’t even understand the concept for why we’re talking about this.”
5. His second national security adviser, HR McMaster: “We saw the absence of leadership, really anti-leadership, and what that can do to our country.”
6. His third national security adviser, John Bolton: “I believe (foreign leaders) think he is a laughing fool.”
7. His second chief of staff, John Kelly: “A person that has nothing but contempt for our democratic institutions, our Constitution, and the rule of law. There is nothing more that can be said. God help us.”
8. His former acting chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney, who resigned as US special envoy to Ireland after January 6, 2021: “I quit because I think he failed at being the president when we needed him to be that.”
9. One of his many former communications directors, Anthony Scaramucci: “He is the domestic terrorist of the 21st century.”
10. Another former communications director, Stephanie Grisham: “I am terrified of him running in 2024.”
11. His secretary of education, Betsy DeVos, who resigned after January 6: “When I saw what was happening on January 6 and didn’t see the president step in and do what he could have done to turn it back or slow it down or really address the situation, it was just obvious to me that I couldn’t continue.”
12. His secretary of transportation, Elaine Chao, who resigned after January 6: “At a particular point the events were such that it was impossible for me to continue, given my personal values and my philosophy.
13. His first secretary of the Navy, Richard Spencer: “…the president has very little understanding of what it means to be in the military, to fight ethically or to be governed by a uniform set of rules and practices.”
14. His first homeland security adviser, Tom Bossert: “The President undermined American democracy baselessly for months. As a result, he’s culpable for this siege, and an utter disgrace.”
15. His White House lawyer, Ty Cobb: “Trump relentlessly puts forth claims that are not true.”
16. A former deputy press secretary, Sarah Matthews, who resigned after January 6: “I think that his actions on January 6 and the lead-up to it, the way that he’s acted in the aftermath, and his continuation of pushing this lie that the election is stolen has made him wholly unfit to hold office every again."
