Deputies responded to the 17600 block of Glenmark Dr in reference to a male who was shot and transported to a local hospital. During the investigation, it was discovered the male accidentally shot himself with a zip gun he manufactured. Zip guns are illegal and are considered Prohibited Weapons according to state law.
