Early this morning, SWAT executed a search & arrest warrant at a residence near the 7400 block of Redding Rd in SW Harris County. The primary suspect was wanted for Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon. He also has ties to MS-13.

Upon arrival, two adult males exited. Our robots and drones found another male hiding inside. Chemical munitions were deployed and he surrendered peacefully. He was evaluated by the Houston Fire Department. The scene has been released to detectives with our Violent Crimes Unit.

Deputies responded to the 17600 block of Glenmark Dr in reference to a male who was shot and transported to a local hospital. During the investigation, it was discovered the male accidentally shot himself with a zip gun he manufactured. Zip guns are illegal and are considered Prohibited Weapons according to state law.

The Bomb Unit rendered the device safe and our K9 team checked the area for any potential dangers. The scene is safe and the incident remains under investigation.

HCSO SWATwas up bright and earlier to assist Texas Department of Public Safety & FBI โ€“ Federal Bureau of Investigation in the ex*****on of a search and arrest warrant near the 16000 block of Mission Glen, in Fort Bend County.

One adult male was arrested on six federal warrants for charges related to drug trafficking, robbery, kidnapping, extortion, and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
