How is CCP funded?
Ohio law requires school districts to participate in College Credit Plus. Tuition for eligible courses is generally paid through a district's state funding, and school districts are also responsible for required textbooks and materials.
At Washington Court House City Schools, CCP tuition and textbooks cost approximately $125,000 each year.
How is WCHCS maximizing opportunities for students?
WCHCS is expanding opportunities by supporting teachers who earn the credentials needed to teach CCP courses right here on our campus.
When students can take CCP courses taught by qualified WCHCS teachers, they earn college credit while staying connected to their school, extracurricular activities, and the support systems that help them succeed.
