The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the whereabouts of a s*x offender that has recently absconded from his registered address on Cook-Yankeetown Rd in Fayette County.

Thomas L. Lambert, age 34 of Mt. Sterling, Ohio has left his registered address and is believed to be somewhere in the Columbus, Ohio area. Mr. Lambert is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs approximately 185 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. The attached photograph is a booking photo of Mr. Lambert from December 2025.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mr. Lambert is asked to contact the FCSO at (740)335-6170 or by leaving information on the FCSO tip line.

On this Memorial Day, we take a moment to remember and honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.

We will never forget those who gave their forever to make sure we have a tomorrow. Their bravery and dedication will always stay with us.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the public for your continued support throughout the year, and especially last week during National Police Week. Your encouragement means more to our deputies than you know.

We are also deeply grateful to Valero Renewable Fuels, Grace Methodist Church, and Vic and Carole Pontious for generously providing meals and snacks to our deputies. Your kindness and support are truly appreciated and help our team serve the community every day.
