Hello, and happy summer HSE! Please remember to fill out your annual enrollment. Currently there are only 259 Annual enrollments that have been turned in. That is only 59% of who we anticipate for the Fall semester at HSE. I have 25 started and not submitted along with 154 that have not started an app at all.

Please help Mrs. Elsa as she is eager to get all of this finished so that classes can be assigned. Your student will not be assigned a teacher until this is finished.

See below for all related links to get this accomplished.

Call her if you have any questions at 636-671-3360, email at: [email protected] or seesaw.

For the 26-27 School Year, the Northwest R-1 School District requires proof of residency for all students as part of a continued focus on maintaining fiscal accountability for our Northwest R-1 Community. All students seeking admission to the District must be legal residents of the District, meet other qualifying criteria, be granted a waiver, or pay tuition. In order to β€œreside” within the District, the student must be physically domiciled within the boundaries. The domicile of a minor student is the domicile of the parent, military guardian pursuant to military issued guardianship, or court-appointed legal guardian.

Proof of Residency Guidelines:

Provide TWO proofs of residency from the list below. The documentation must include the parent/guardian's name, address and date. We do not accept documents that are still in envelopes. Please note, you may only submit ONE utility bill.

Mortgage Statement for the Residence dated within 30 days of submission.

Rental/Lease Agreement signed by the landlord and tenant, dated and unexpired.

Deed of Residence.

Closing Statement for Residence dated within 30 days of submission.

Utility Bill - gas, electric, water, sewer, cable or internet dated within 30 days of submission. Final or disconnect notices will not be accepted.

Real Estate Property Tax Statement dated within 1 year of submission. (personal property tax statements are not accepted)

Federal Court or State Court Documents dated within 30 days of submission.

Proof of Homeowners Insurance or Renters Insurance dated within 1 year of submission and has not expired.

Affidavit of Residency
What is an Affidavit of Residency?
An Affidavit of Residency is a legal document that you can use to verify your residence and the residency of anyone living with you.

When is an Affidavit of Residency used?
An Affidavit of Residency is used when a parent/legal guardian of a student cannot provide two (2) proofs of residency in his/her name at the time of registration because his/her primary residence is owned or leased by another party and he/she is not receiving any acceptable proof of residency. Please review the list below of acceptable residency documents to determine if a residency affidavit is necessary.

What documents are accepted as proof of residency?

Provide TWO proofs of residency from the list below. The documentation must include the parent/guardian's name, address and date.

Chromebook and Charger Return Information for Grades 3-5

Dear Families,

As we begin preparing for the end of the school year, all students in grades 3-5 will need to return their district-issued Chromebook and charger to school.

Beginning Friday, May 15, teachers will start collecting Chromebooks and chargers. We ask that all devices and chargers be returned to school this Friday to allow time for inventory, assessment, and any needed repairs.

Starting next school year, students in grades 3-5 will continue to have daily 1:1 Chromebook access during the school day, (just like K-2); however, Chromebooks will remain at school instead of traveling back and forth from home. Each classroom will be equipped with a Chromebook cart for student use throughout the school day. We will follow the same procedures as K-2 and send home Chromebooks and chargers in preparation for AMI days.

This transition will help:
-Reduce damage and lost devices
-Ensure Chromebooks are fully charged and ready for learning
-Allow technology support to more efficiently maintain devices
-Increase instructional readiness for students each day

Please help your child locate and return:
-Their district-issued Chromebook
-Their Chromebook charger

Students should return both items directly to their classroom teacher.

Thank you for your support and partnership as we make this transition for next school year. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Ritzel, HSE Principal
