Thank you for coming to our final Jr. LEGO Club and Story & Craft Time of the season this week! In the coming weeks we will be posting information about this year's Summer Reading Program which will be starting at the end of June and running through the middle of August.

The theme of today's Story & Craft Time is Crabs! We will be reading "The Hermit Crab" by Carter Goodrich and making Handprint Crabs. This is our final Story & Craft Time until Fall so we really hope you join us today, 3-4pm, in the Children's Library!

Here is our display of books written/illustrated by Wabanaki and other Indigenous peoples for Wabanaki Studies Education's Journey Through the Dawnland scavenger hunt. We have books for children, teens, and adults -- with more still on the shelves waiting to be featured! This display will be up all summer and we hope you check it out -- and if you are participating in the scavenger hunt make sure to see a staff member to have your sheet stamped!

Maine author and professional photographer Arend Thibodeau will be at Cary Library Monday, June 8th, 3-4pm to talk about his newest book "Maine's Military Might: Memories of Military Infrastructures in the Pine Tree State". Copies of the book will be available for purchase and to be signed.

This month's Teen Take-Home Craft Kits went so fast that we've decided to go ahead and put out June's a little early! The new craft is Soda Tab People Keychains. You can find them in the Teen section under the blackboard.
