Michigan Technological University is continuing to salute Veterans at Michigan Tech Hockey games in 2026-27. Veterans selected are provided two free tickets and a parking pass for a home MTU Hockey Game at the MTU MacInnes Ice Arena in Houghton. The Veteran and his guest are seated on the mezzanine level (no stair climbing necessary) and are featured briefly during the game, including having their picture on the jumbotron for a moment.

ALL Veterans are eligible to apply, however priority goes to Veterans who have not already been recognized at an MTU Hockey Game in the past. Call 906-482-0102 or email [email protected] to apply (please provide a first and second choice game date). Veterans who do not already have a record at the Houghton County Veteran Service Office are required to submit proof of service (Form DD214 or similar). It is also helpful if the Veteran can provide a photo of her/him from service.

DO NOT CONTACT MTU. YOU MUST CALL OR EMAIL OUR OFFICE.
