Tree House Family Resources Tree House Family Resources, formerly known as The Keweenaw Family Resource Center, is home to the Tree House Indoor Playground.

The mission of Tree House Family Resources is to provide safe spaces, playful learning and resources that help families with young children grow stronger together. We offer a variety of programs and services to support families throughout the Copper Country. If you have littles join us for a playgroup or at the playground. We are thrilled to share that we’ve received a grant from SEMCO Energy to support our Pop-Up Parenting program! 💙

Pop-Up Parenting offers practical advice in a flexible, drop-in format during a two-hour open-play session. Parents and caregivers can pop in anytime, stay as long as works for their schedule, hear from a local expert, ask questions, and take home great resources—all without the commitment of a traditional class.

All month long, we’re inviting families who are expecting or have an infant 6 months or younger to stop by the Tree House and pick up a complimentary Safe Sleep Bag.

Each bag includes:
📚 Helpful information about keeping baby safe while sleeping
📖 A board book to enjoy together
🛏️ A size 0–6 month sleep sack

Know someone who is expecting or has welcomed a new baby? Pick up a bag to give them the gift of knowledge and help spread the word about safe sleep practices. Every family deserves the tools and information to help keep their little ones safe. 💙

A HUGE THANK YOU to all the wonderful families who joined us for our Kids Construction Workshop last night! We had an absolute blast building, painting wooden kits, and creating lasting memories together.

Did you know stringing pool noodle pieces onto rope is an awesome way to build fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and early math concepts like counting and pattern-making?

It’s just one of the hands-on activities we explore at My Grown-Up & Me! Designed to help prepare your family for PreK and beyond, this program is the perfect blend of play and developmental growth.
