This weekend, September 18-20, is the Michigan Firemen's Memorial Festival Committee in the Village of Roscommon.

We are proud to announce that our Fire Chief Emeritus Joseph Williams has been named Grand Marshall of the Michigan Firemen's Memorial Festival 2026 Parade. What a wonderful way to honor the years of dedication, leadership and service he has given to our community.

Please join us in congratulating Chief Emeritus Williams on this outstanding honor! We are so grateful for your many years of service to Roscommon Township Fire Department. This honor is well deserved.

This amazing festival is a wonderful opportunity to support firefighters throughout Michigan and have some fun. There is a cruise Friday night (Bright Light Cruise) and an amazing parade Saturday at noon. There is also a touching service on Saturday at the Memorial site at 9:00 am to honor the courage, selflessness and dedication of fallen firefighters. Make some time this weekend to show your support.
