Dear neighbors, this is just a friendly reminder. Regardless if you agree or deisagree with someone’s political signs posted on their private property property, which is their right, it is a crime to trespass onto someone else’s property to tamper with the signs in any way. Violations of such trespassing and others etc. will be Prosecuted.

Hello neighbors our agency recovered some found property from the 100 block of E. Bridge St. on 07/15/20 at approximately 1700 hrs.

Item appears to be a type of awning for an RV approximately 10-12 feet long. If the item is yours or you know who’s it may belong to please contact our agency so we may return the found property.

Memorial Services for Sergeant Rdean Young are Friday, 9/20/19 at 1:30 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located on Pioneer Road (at F Road.) Those wishing to attend the service may do so. Everyone else may bid their farewell and give respects along the procession route.

It is estimated the procession will leave the church at approximately 2:45 PM. We will travel south on Pioneer Road to Hwy 50; turning right to travel north on Hwy 50 and down Main Street. The procession will then turn east onto Hwy 92 to 1725 Road ending at Taylor Funeral Services / Mesa View Cemetery. (See the map. The church is located about lower middle of the map.)

The Delta Police Department has been overwhelmed and deeply enriched by the outpouring love and support from this amazing community and beyond during this difficult time.

Hotchkiss Residents,

The Hotchkiss Marshal's Office and Delta County Sheriff's Office will be present at Hotchkiss K-8 school tomorrow morning (08/15/19) at approximately 8 AM well into the afternoon. Law enforcement is doing emergency response training and there will also be Staff Members/Volunteers present as well. We take our community and children's safety very seriously and will continue to train every chance we get!
