IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY DIAL 911, For info about the Fire Department or any questions or concerns call our office during office hours. 9am-5pm Mon-Fri.

Piney Fire District, is a Volunteer Fire Department. This means we are a none staffed Fire Department (Our Fire Fighters are not at our stations 24-7 and have other jobs). The only staffed positions are our Office Secretary, Operations Manager and Operations Assistant. Now a little about our Fire Fighters, many of us have jobs with varying hours and some of which allow us to respond to calls. We h

ave several people that are trained as First Responders that allows us to assist Lifenet when needed on medical calls. We provide Emergency services and some none emergency services. We have five stations and seventeen apparatuses located throughout our service district. If you have any questions about our department please feel free to stop by our office during office hours. Remember EMERGENCIES DIAL 911.

Piney had 3 participants in this 80 hour investigator class that are now certified investigators. That makes 5 certified investigators in the Piney fire protection community!! Thank you guys!!🫡🫡 Sean Baker , Charles Graf, Gary Rutledge

Meet your firefighter of the month for april!!!!!! Charles Graf III has been a major part of this department for better than a decade. He is highly trained and is a jack-of-all-trades, he can literally fabricate anything. He has been one of the biggest assets to this department moving forward and is a big part of how efficient and well maintained our equipment is!!!! I know I speak for most when I say we could not live without you and look forward two bettering our department and family!!!

James brings over a decade of experience to our community being one that always wants to help whether it's saving a life or mentoring a kid from church He has a heart in the right place❤️And it is an honor to have him serving our community. Its Tuesday time to meet another awesome firefighter! Today we meet Mark Larey
Mark Larey known as (DOC) is one of the most dedicated people you will ever meet. He serves on 2 different fire departments.
And volunteers with churches and everything in between this guy has a passion, like no other and the ability to be amazing in many ways, it is such a privilege to know this guy is serving our community and assisting saving lives and keeping everybody in shape. Doc trains every week and lot of his weekends to stay certified to help his community.

Its Tuesday! You know what that means!
ITS TIME FOR ANOTHER FIRE FIGHTER!!Today we meet Brooke Miser
Brooke has the fire department in her blood. With her father being a firefighter since she was a tiny baby, Brooke has always had a calling to help others and put out fires! She has learned a lot and has came a long way. Brooke has pushed herself to learn any truck as well as learning to pump almost every one. She also became one of our departments Chaplains! And she continues to push her education further. Making her an amazing of the fire family.

Its Tuesday you know what that means! Today we'd like to introduce Scott Miser Jr.
Scott Miser Jr might be stubborn, but he would take the shirt off his back for anyone. Scott has been Pineys Fire Chief since 2018, but began his fire journey at Joplin in 2004, later transferred to Piney Fire in 2008. He's always willing to help others and be their voice. Scott has a little over 20 years of experience ranging from the fire service, medical, and to fire boat operations. Scott is an all around awesome guy! He will make sure everyone on his department makes it home to their families.
