Celebrate America’s 250th with Adventure 250!
America is turning 250, and there is no better place to celebrate than in the great outdoors. South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks invites you to pack up the family, hit the trails, and Make Your History in South Dakota State Parks.
Welcome to Adventure 250!
You can turn your park visits into points, and those points into prizes all summer long. Whether you are looking for a rugged hike or a relaxing afternoon, there is an adventure waiting for you.
How It Works:
1. Find Your Adventure: Use our interactive map to spot unique challenges across South Dakota state parks. Each adventure is worth 5 to 50 points depending on difficulty.
2. Track Your Progress: Submit your photo and adventure details through Survey123 after each visit.
3. The Golden Rule: For prize eligibility, your submission must include a group selfie in front of a sign displaying the park's name.
The Prizes
Weekly Drawings: Every week, we are drawing winners from all valid entries received Monday through Sunday. (Limit one entry per household eligible per week). Please note: Weekly prizes must be picked up in person, though pickup locations can be coordinated.
The Grand Prize: If you accumulate 250 total points by the end of the summer, you will be entered into our grand prize drawings!

• Where: State parks all across South Dakota.
