💛 A Huge Thank You to Rusty’s Tree Trimming & Removal 💛

This morning, Rusty’s Tree Trimming & Removal showed up at The Jackson House and immediately got to work — trimming trees, clearing problem areas, and taking care of things that truly needed attention around our property.

They didn’t just provide a service…
They donated their time, their skill, and their heart to support our mission.

Rusty and his team were gracious, professional, and incredibly detail oriented — exactly the kind of partners we’re proud to stand beside in serving our community. Their generosity helps us keep The Jackson House safe, welcoming, and beautiful for everyone who walks through our doors.

From all of us here: Thank you for being such a wonderful partner.
Your kindness makes a real difference.

Ok our big announcement!!!
In honor of International Overdose Awareness Day TODAY we would like to invite you to our 3rd Annual Friends for a Cause Christmas Toy drive in honor of my son, Austin Samples, who I lost to fentanyl. We would like to bring overdose awareness this year in my sons memory💜
Mark your calendar!! We would like to make this the biggest toy drive yet! We will also be making monetary donations to rehab facilities in Austins memory this year. 💜 Also we will still be donating unwrapped toys to Jackson House❤️

At Jackson House, we see every day how quickly a crisis can unfold. Just the other day, we helped two elderly neighbors back‑to‑back with food, safety needs, and support — all within 30 minutes. Moments like these remind us why our mission matters.

We serve over 20,000 people every year — nearly 20% of Garland County — with zero government funding. Most of the people we help are working families, followed by elderly residents, disabled individuals, and veterans, many of whom rely on us multiple times throughout the year. And as the number of elderly neighbors without family support continues to grow, our role becomes even more vital.

Thank you to our volunteers, donors, and community partners who make this work possible. Together, we truly make a difference

Sharing this as today at Jackson House we helped 4 in a row elderly people, men and women, some of which are living in cars, cutting their meds, suffering in the heat because they cannot afford electricity, aren't eating properly, help buying their meds, it's a travesty how they're living after all they've done for our country. Sherri Fear Williamson came in today helping an elderly person. Is this what we all are facing as we age now? I see it several times a day now.
