Tonight at 6:00 PM at the Hot Springs Ambulance Station is our last education night before the live scale MCI Drill!

Topics tonight include MCI/Scene Management along with a additional Landing Zone class with hands on training with the aircraft! Food and drinks will be provided! See you all tonight! 😎

We had some surprise visitors pop into the base this morning!

The Girl Scouts from Box Elder stopped by the base and brought the crew some delicious cookies. While they were here, they had the opportunity to tour the aircraft, learn about what we do, and ask the crew lots of great questions.

Thank you to the Box Elder Girl Scouts for the cookies and for taking the time to visit us today. I don’t think these cookies are going to last long! 😎

We kick off tonight at the Hot Springs Ambulance Service at 6:00PM with a HazMat Awareness class! Food and drinks will be provided. See you all there!

We are just ONE WEEK away from kicking off our Fall River County MCI Training & Education Series!

✅ ALL classes are FREE to attend
✅ Food will be provided at each class

🚨PLEASE NOTE: The date for the full scale MCI Drill has changed and will now take place on Saturday, June 20th. Participation in the full scale drill will require registration, which will be released after the May 26th class.

Our first class kicks off May 19th at 6:00PM with Hazmat Awareness, taught by Bryan Ott with the Rapid City Fire Department.

We look forward to seeing everyone there! 😎

Happy EMS Week to our paramedics at Black Hills Life Flight 7: Matt L, Travis, Matt J, and Jaryd!

This week we want to give a special shoutout and acknowledge these guys for everything they do for our patients and crew every single day. From taking care of critical patients to carrying the nurses’ bags (it’s a HEMS requirement 😎). Your commitment and dedication to our patients is what makes you all some of the best!

We also want to recognize and thank all of the Paramedics and EMTs we work alongside throughout our area. This year’s EMS Week theme, “Improving Outcomes Together,” is a perfect reminder that great patient care takes teamwork at every level. Whether on the ground or in the air, we’re all working toward the same goal of providing the best possible care for our patients. We appreciate each and every one of you and wish you all a safe and Happy EMS Week! 👏🚁🚑

Help us welcome our newest pilot, Spencer Bailey, to Black Hills Life Flight 7! 🚁

Spencer has been a pilot for 8 years and has spent the last year and a half flying with Air Methods as a pool pilot before transferring to our base as a permanent pilot. We’re excited to have him officially join the LF7 crew!

When he’s not flying, Spencer enjoys spending time adventuring out in the hills with his wife and two kids.

We’re excited to have you on the team and welcome to Black Hills Life Flight 7! 😎
