ποΈ FEMA Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Representatives are visiting door-to-door in Horsham Township! They will be making their way through the storm-damaged areas of the township over the next few days informing residents that they may qualify for individual assistance for emergency work and repair or replacement of homes damaged by Ida's remnants from August 31 - September 5, 2021.
π The FEMA reps will be walking through neighborhoods, handing out literature, helping residents apply for assistance, and answering any questions they may have.
πͺ If you are not home when FEMA representatives come through your neighborhood, do not worry! They will leave an informational flyer at your home, and you have until November 10 to register with FEMA for disaster assistance in Pennsylvania.
β οΈ Please remain alert, as this is a prime opportunity for scammers to go through neighborhoods pretending to be FEMA reps. ALL FEMA reps carry an identification badge with a photograph. A FEMA shirt or jacket alone is not proof of identity.
