Hatboro-Horsham School District

Hatboro-Horsham School District This is the ONLY official page of the Hatboro-Horsham School District. We set the bar high not only for our students, but for ourselves.

The School District of Hatboro-Horsham welcomes you to the page of one of the finest school districts in Pennsylvania, where we view everyone as a "Champion of Learning." Our suburban Philadelphia school district of approximately 5000 students is a forward-thinking, progressive educational organization with a rich history of academic excellence that we will strive to exceed as we move into the future. All of our schools have received blue ribbon honors from both the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the United States Department of Education for demonstrating excellence in education. Our students consistently demonstrate high achievement and strong performance on standardized testing, and many of our graduates move on to post-secondary educational institutions. One of our most recent accomplishments was being awarded with a Pennsylvania Department of Education Classrooms for the Future Grant that will enhance computer access and technology integration in all our High School classes. Although we take great pride in our rich traditions and current accomplishments, our principals, teachers and staff members work diligently every day to improve and to provide programs that yield strong student performance and foster a caring environment. Our staff is committed to providing the best educational opportunities for all students, and we encourage parents to be involved. At Hatboro-Horsham, we are fortunate to be supported by School Board, parents, and community members who are open to new ideas. Together, we have developed a strategic plan through which we hope to enhance student academic achievement, social and character development, physical wellness, and the important skills needed for success in today's world. Together, we are committed to moving the district into the 21st Century. As we do so, we remain focused on our mission statement:

The School District of Hatboro-Horsham will prepare and challenge all students to excel academically and to develop social skills and creativity by providing exemplary and innovative programs through a supportive collaboration of educators, students, parents, and community.

Today is Patriot Day.

It was on this day 25 years ago that the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center in New York City fell in the midst of a coordinated terrorist attack along the northeastern region of the United States which included a total of four hijacked airliners.

Thousands of lives were lost on that fateful day; it is a day that Americans will never forget.

Patriot Day was thus created to be observed every September 11 as a day of solemn remembrance for all the lives lost that day and thereafter as a result of the attacks.

Yesterday was Back to School Night at Hatboro-Horsham High School.

During the welcoming event, parents were able to walk through their child's schedule, visiting each teacher and getting a feel for their child's daily routine.

It has been a very successful beginning to the school-year so far, and we plan to continue building on that momentum to create a memorable 2026-2027 school-year!

Welcome, Class of 2030!

Monday was the first day of school for Hatboro-Horsham High School's Class of 2030.

Link Crew is a program designed to introduce new students to life at high school. Led by HHHS Teacher Jim Shields, Link Crew employs a team of about 100 upperclassmen called Link Crew Leaders to serve as mentors and guides for groups of incoming freshmen.

During the school-day, Link Crew Leaders host group activities, answer questions, tour the building, and overall create a welcoming atmosphere for the students in an effort to acclimate them to their new environment and opportunities.

What a wonderful day in Hatboro-Horsham for the first day of the 2026-2027 school-year! 🌞

We hope everyone in the Hatboro-Horsham community has had a relaxing summer break, because HHSD staff, faculty, and administrators have been hard at work preparing for our students to return refreshed and ready to learn.

Already, students have been engaged in team-building activities, outdoor recess time, introductory lessons, and so much more, but we are just getting started.

Have a great school-year, Hatboro-Horsham!

Today is Women's Equality Day.

It was on this day in 1920 that women earned the right to vote through the adoption of the Nineteenth Amendment (XIX) to the United States Constitution.

The fight to secure women's suffrage was fought for decades before the Nineteenth Amendment was certified, and the women who fiercely advocated for it have inspired generations of Americans to stand up for women's equality.
