Olive Branch MCJROTC is proud to announce the promotion of Makayla Burress to the rank of Cadet Major and her selection as the new Company Commander of Clever Company.

This isn’t given… it’s earned.

Makayla has demonstrated the discipline, leadership, and unwavering commitment that defines what it means to be a Marine Corps JROTC cadet. She has put in the work, set the standard, and now steps into a role where she will lead from the front and shape the future of our program.

Today, our Olive Branch MCJROTC cadets stepped up in a BIG way to help brighten the holidays for children in need! ❤️

Cadet 2nd Lt Raphael Jolomi, Cadet 2nd Lt Bryan Dalton, and Cadet Staff Sergeant Jerome Hill proudly represented the program as they teamed up with Toys for Tots to help Stuff the Truck with toys that will make a child’s Christmas unforgettable. 🎁✨

Their dedication, leadership, and service to the community reflect the true spirit of the season — giving, caring, and lifting others up.

Thank you to everyone who donated and supported this amazing cause. Together, we’re making a difference! 🙌💛💙

Armed regulation: 2nd place overall
Armed Ex: 2nd Place overall
Inspection 2nd Place overall
Two man tandem: 3rd Place overall
Knockout Drill: Tyrique Newby 2nd overall.
Color-guard: 1st place overall
