To help ensure your trash and recycling are picked up safely and efficiently, please place your bins at least 5 feet apart from each other. This gives Waste Management's automated collection trucks enough room to grab and empty each bin without tipping them over or causing delays.

- Place bins at least 5 feet apart
- Keep lids closed
- Position bins at the curb with wheels facing your home
- Keep bins clear of vehicles, mailboxes, and other obstacles

A little extra space goes a long way in keeping collection routes running smoothly for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation!

Public Works Alert:

This is a picture of the Cardboard Recycling site taken yesterday morning.

If disposing of cardboard, please ensure that:
✅ The cardboard is flattened
✅The cardboard doesn't contain any plastic, packing peanuts, etc
✅The cardboard is placed in the bin

If the bins are full, residents need to hang onto their cardboard and come back once the bins are emptied.
The bins are emptied every Monday.
Do not place them on the ground, beside the dumpsters, or leaning against the dumpsters.
You'll need to hang onto them until the dumpsters are emptied.

Not doing so creates a mess and leads to boxes blowing away.
Also, not doing so requires Public Works to spend valuable time cleaning up the site instead of performing other duties.

We are working with Waste Management on a solution to this issue.
But, in the meantime,....let's do it right!

Thank you for your cooperation!
