Failor Lake Road Closure Notice
Failor Lake Road will be closed due to a Grays Harbor County timber harvest operation beginning June 15. This means that the road will be closed and locked to the public Monday thru Friday from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. The County will try to limit the daytime closure as much as possible. This operation is expected to be completed within 4 weeks.

Construction update for Levee Street Roadway Improvements.

Youth Mental Health Walk will take place Thursday May 21st at 12:05PM.

This event is to raise awareness about mental health and show our community support for students and families affected by mental health.

The walk will start in front of the Hoquiam Middle School and will last about 40 minutes.

Please consider participating to show support for the youth in our community.

Pushrods of Hoquiam, River Festival, & Rogue Wrestling Attractions are combining forces to Celebrate Americas’ 250th Anniversary with our Community.

My TOWN Coalition is partnering with local businesses to put on their annual 5K color run, along with a mental health resource fair at the Hoquiam Library on May 16th in honor of May being Mental Health Awareness Month. Please see the flyer for all event details.

Upcoming Road Closures
The City of Hoquiam will be having some upcoming road closures that may affect your commute.
May 4th to 5th:
Airport Way will be closed from Paulson Rd to Moon Island. Detour will be on S Adams.
May 6th to 7th:
Paulson Rd will be closed from W Emerson to Airport Way. Detour will be on S Adams.
*Access to walking trails will still be accessible for pedestrians during all road closures via detours.

Flushing is scheduled to begin the week of May 4, 2026, and will continue through the end of June. Flushing hours will be from 6:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
