The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has opened a 30-day public comment period for Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E)'s License Surrender Application for the Potter Valley Hydroelectric Project. All interested parties are encouraged to submit their comments by November 30, 2025. Instructions on how to submit a public comment to the FERC using their eComment system is provided below.

Submission Steps:
1. Go to https://ferconline.ferc.gov/FERCOnline.aspx and go to the ‘eComment’ tab.
2. Fill in the required personal information and click “Authorize”.
3. Wait for the confirmation email from FERC—this email will contain a unique link you need.
4. Draft comments ahead of time in a WORD document so you can cut and paste into the text box
5. Click the link, enter the Docket Number: P-77-332 into the text box, and hit “search.”
6. Click the big blue plus + symbol next to the docket number.
7. Insert your comment into the text box.
8. Click the “send comment” button to finalize your submission.
