The Town of Hopkinton was established in 1715 and gains widespread media attention each year in April when the internationally known Boston Marathon is run. Runners from all over the world gather on Main Street to begin their 26-mile run in what is always a colorful and exciting event. Hopkinton's resourcefulness and spirit is shared by Town residents, the local business and industrial communities, who volunteer and participate in town government and contribute generously to community projects and programs. All play a part in carrying on the town's nearly 300 years of history and tradition as a caring place to live.

We're looking for our next Library Services Director!

The Town of Hopkinton is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and forward-thinking library professional to lead the Hopkinton Public Library.

Our library welcomes more than 110,000 visitors each year, offers nearly 1,000 programs and events annually, and serves as a vibrant gathering place for our community. The next Director will lead a talented team, work with an engaged Library Board of Trustees, and help guide the Library through its next chapter.

Anticipated Hiring Range: $94,016 - $112,819.20

Full Position Range: $94,016 - $131,622.40

Hopkinton Town Hall and all municipal offices, including the Library & the Senior Center, will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. The Library will also be closed on Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6.

There will be no curbside trash pickup on Monday, September 7. Pickup will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week.
