Today is election day.

It has been quite an experience. Campaigning with Kyla McSweeney, School Committee Member and Nasiba Mannan, Hopkinton Board of Health. The love and support from old friends and new friends I met during the campaign. The support from 3 of the 4 current fantastic School Committee members. The support from our beloved volunteers of Special Education community. The support from Hopkinton Democrats. I am grateful. I am going to work as hard as I can to keep your trust.

I brought my qualifications, experience, track record of service, strategic vision, love for our Schools and support for every child to the campaign. They brought hate. Let's give Love the win today.

Had a great time meeting our awesome Hopkinton SEPAC community and friends at the pizza party! Great conversations with ideas to help our schools with real solutions for real opportunities. Thank you, Jen Halliday, Karen Lam, Erica Seekell, Melissa Scherer! The best was when a new friend explained the concept of my yard sign and it was exactly what we wanted to convey!

It was a great day to do Yoga and Tai Chi celebrating Asian American heritage month at the Hopkinton Commons! Thank you to South Asian Circle of Hopkinton and Hopkinton Chinese American Association for bringing the community together.

Shahidul is someone who actually knows what he is talking about. So accomplished yet so humble. He has spent years serving this community with a true service mindset and no personal benefit. He is a trailblazer who has led from the front. When someone like him gives you an endorsement, it means everything.

In his letter, Shahidul highlights my plan for "innovative academic pathways and inclusive support systems." That is exactly what I want to bring to Hopkinton schools. Ambitious goals delivered with discipline. I have the experience and skills to do it.

So proud of my friend Rachel Wall. She is tenacious, relentless, and passionate about public schools and every child. She was the target of smear pieces and threats, and she only got fiercer. She put in a ton of work mobilizing people, and she was a difference maker. She is a hero for many of us.

It was so much fun to hang out with my best friends and make new friends at this event. What a privilege to have Jim McGovern as our Rep. So thankful to be friends with Shahidul and Nasiba, they are so gracious and welcoming. My spirits were lifted when Mr. McGovern encouraged us to keep fighting for values. If you know me, you know that is music to my ears.
