🚨Community Assistance Requested🚨

Over the past two nights, our city has experienced several vehicle thefts. We are asking citizens to review any surveillance footage from the following time periods:

Friday night (6/5) through early Saturday morning (6/6).
Saturday night (6/6) through early Sunday morning (today).

We are particularly interested in any footage showing suspicious activity, including possible groups of juveniles or young adult males wearing hoodies. However, any unusual or suspicious activity during these timeframes could be valuable to our investigation.

If you discover anything on your surveillance footage and are willing to share it with law enforcement, please contact ECC Hopkinsville-Christian County at 270-890-1300. An officer will review the footage to determine whether it may have evidentiary value.

Your assistance can make a difference in helping us identify those responsible and prevent future crimes. Thank you for helping keep our community safe.

**Homicide Investigation Update**

We have taken a second suspect into custody in connection with the homicide investigation that began on May 27th. While the investigation remains active and ongoing, all responsible parties are now in custody.

Junior Police Academy is next month!

Does your child have an interest in law enforcement, public service or learning what it takes to be a police officer? Our Junior Police Academy is a great opportunity for teens to get an inside look at policing and interact with officers in a fun and educational environment.

Press Release Narrative for Murder of 93-year-old Dorothy Sparks.

Madisonville, Ky. (June 1, 2026) – Kentucky State Police continue investigating a Caldwell County Murder that occurred in t the Princeton Community in April 2024.

April 2026 marked two years since authorities located Dorothy Sparks deceased in her home. Investigation revealed her death to be a homicide and has been under extensive investigation since. In the wake of the anniversary, Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 2 is requesting any information from the public relevant to this case surrounding the dates of April 18, 2024, near the 11000 block of South Jefferson Street (Ky-293), Princeton, KY.

Annia Williams is this week's Fugitive of the Week. She is currently wanted on an active arrest warrant in connection with the shooting that occurred at Mason Pointe Apartments during the early morning hours of 05/31/2026.
