🗳️ 2026 Primary Election Day is here!

A few things you need to know.

* Your magistrate may have changed. Due to the 2020 census, Christian County reapportioned the magisterial districts in 2023.

* If you are a registered Democrat, there is only the US Senatorial race on your ballot. (If you are a Democrat and you live in Ward 9 - Hopkinsville, there will be two races on your ballot - City council and US Senate.)

* If you changed your registered party affiliation after the deadline of December 31, 2025, you are ineligible to vote in the May election.

* Kentucky has closed primary elections. If you are not registered as a Democrat or Republican, you cannot vote in the May primary.

* Have your ID/License ready when you arrive at the polls.
