Good Afternoon CCPS Families,
Due to the forecasted ice event for our region, Christian County Public Schools has made the decision to cancel in-person learning tomorrow, February 3rd. This means Thursday will be a non-traditional learning day. Students will be expected to complete Day #4 of NTI. Staff do not need to report to buildings. All athletic events and extra-curricular activities for Thursday have also been canceled and there will be no childcare. If you have questions regarding your child's NTI assignments, please reach out directly to your child's teacher or school.

Good morning,
I would like to say thank you to those who have supported our decision to consolidate the high schools! I realize that some may not agree with that decision and that’s totally fine, but please know that we made the best decision for ALL STUDENTS in CCPS. The decision was not easy. Now whether you support the decision or not, now is the time to jump on board and support the consolidation. In order for this model to truly work properly we have to have the support from the community. Our kids deserve this. We owe it to them. All kids deserve to have the same opportunities and the best opportunities possible! I have faith in Mr. Bentzel and our leadership team. So as a board member I made my decision based on facts and based on what was best for our kids. I’m sorry things didn’t turn out the way some of you hoped, but we have to push forward and properly prepare these kids with the tools they need to succeed. Thank you for the kind words of encouragement. CCPS IS ALL IN❤️Christian Co and Hoptown will forever be in our hearts and will continue to run through the veins of our kids except this time they’ll be fighting together for the same goal💪🏾
