Last night our 2024 City of Hopkinsville Diplomat Class met managers of various City Administrative offices such as the City Administrator, City Clerk, Human Resources, IT, and Finance. They also heard from Community and Development Services (CDS), the Convention and Visitors' Bureau, and the Human Rights Commission.

Recently, the newly-minted graduating class of the City of Hopkinsville Diplomat Program participated in the Hopkinsville Beautification Trash-for-Cash program. Not only did these fine Diplomats help to clean a 5-mile stretch along Canton Pike, but they also turned around and donated the money they raised (nearly $500) to the Christian County Literacy Council.

On Thursday, along with Hopkinsville Mayor J.R. Knight, City Clerk Brittany Byrum and Beautification Coordinator Heather Braun, representatives from the most recent Diplomats Program presented the check to CCLC Executive Director Francene Gilmer. Kudos to these individuals for committing to , keeping our streets clean, and giving back to local organizations. That's what working together looks like and is all about.
