Join us for the VFW Post 637 Ride to Remember as we honor the memories of those we've lost while investing in the future through education.

All proceeds benefit the BobbieJo Lazo, Lee Dixon, and Otis Berry Scholarship Funds, helping deserving students achieve their dreams.

Monday, despite the rain, our community came together to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

From placing thousands of flags throughout City Point National Cemetery in the pouring rain on Saturday , to hosting our Memorial Day Ceremony at VFW Post 637, every moment was a reminder that remembrance has no weather conditions.

We want to sincerely thank every volunteer, family member, veteran, supporter, and community member who came out to help, attend, and pay tribute to our fallen heroes. Seeing generations come together to serve and remember is what Memorial Day is truly about.

To all who stood with us Monday — thank you for helping ensure that the sacrifices of our nation’s heroes are never forgotten.

📌 We will be picking up flags at 4:30 PM on June 1st at City Point National Cemetery, pending the flags have had enough time to dry out. Anyone willing to help is greatly appreciated.

We have closely been watching the weather and out of precaution and the predictions getting stronger for storms in the morning- the Memorial Day Ceremony has been moved indoors to the post home located at 1400 Lynchburg Street Hopewell VA 23860. Just a reminder side dishes and desserts are always welcome.

**Due to inclement weather tomorrow mornings ceremony will be held at VFW 637 located at 1400 Lynchburg Street Hopewell VA. The ceremony will be in the post hall still at 10am.**
