One week from today! Join us at Wawa 907 Colonial Corner for Wawa with the Law on Wednesday 8/19 from 9am-12 pm. Your donation to the Special Olympics goes straight to the athletes to fund their yearly events such as the Torch Run. Now for the fun part: if you donate, you will receive a placard to cover the cruiser. Can we cover those squad cars completely? Additionally, you can find us before that on Tuesday 8/18, same time, at the Wawa at 1270 Temple Ave to help our friends in Colonial Heights cover their cruisers. Your donations are appreciated. ⚠️ Public Safety Alert – Sick Fox Reported ⚠️

Hopewell Animal Services is aware of a sick fox in the downtown/City Point Park area.

For your safety and the safety of the animal:
🦊 Do not approach the fox.
🚫 Do not attempt to feed or handle it.
👧🐕 Keep children and pets away from the area.

A sick or injured wild animal may behave unpredictably and could pose a risk to people and pets. Animal Services is actively monitoring the situation and responding appropriately.

If you see the fox, please keep a safe distance and report its location to Hopewell Animal Services so we can respond as quickly as possible.

Thank you for helping us keep our community safe while allowing trained personnel to handle the situation.
