Hopewell Redevelopment & Housing Authority Our Mission is to promote adequate and affordable housing, economic opportunity and suitable living environment free from discrimination

The Hopewell Redevelopment and Housing Authority was established in 1989. Our governing body is a seven-member Board of Commissioners appointed by City Council. Funding is secured through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and rental income. We own and manage 490 units of public housing and administer 345 Housing vouchers through the Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP). L

It's not too late to register!!! ML2 starts this Monday at the Thomas Rolfe Community Center. Program will be ran Monday - Thursday from 2:30 - 5:30 pm.

As of Monday, September 12, 2016, HRHA’s on-site office hours will be changing. The modified office hours will allow staff to better serve residents by providing dedicated time for staff to process recertification's, interims, applications, and formal interview documents in addition to allotted times to conduct resident/applicant meetings without having to close the office during normal operational hours.

The new on-site community office hours for walk ins and phone calls will be Monday through Friday 8:30 am -12:00 pm and appointment only from 1:00—5:00 pm. Please note, the work order line will be monitored throughout the day.

We are committed to providing excellent customer service to our residents. Should you have any questions, please contact your community office.

Elementary school girls learned how to create mobile apps using a MIT software program. They discussed how mobile apps can help their community, learned teambuilding and had a great time programming the phones provided by Google. We look forward to the next one!
