We always ❤️ our staff! But we’re exceptionally proud of our lifeguard Emma Wright for making an incredible save yesterday after a guest jumped off the diving board and was unable to swim to safety. Her training kicked in and wasted no time. Emma is also our newly certified Water Safety Instructor who will be teaching the swim lessons. Way to go Emma! 👏🏻

🌊 Pool Update:
We plan to open the pool tomorrow for normal public hours noon-5:00 pm. We would like to be completely transparent with the citizens of Hope on our closure today. Following a series of fights which occurred on property yesterday and verbal threats staff were made aware of after the incidents we decided to be proactive and close the pool down while Hope Police Department conducted a thorough investigation. HPD has been actively involved with the parks system and occupants the last 24 hours and have found there is no immediate danger to the public and we will resume normal operations tomorrow! Our first priority is the safety of our staff and the public who utilize our facilities. We take every incident seriously and are grateful for the response and assistance from our local police department. We want to make clear this was an isolated and uncommon incident, there is no reason to suspect a repeat. We love spending the summers at our pool with the kids in the community and we look forward to a great summer as we take every step to keep a safe, but enjoyable environment. Please know:
✅We do not tolerate disorderly conduct.
✅We reserve the right to ban patrons from our facilities who disrupt our safe environment.
✅ Adult supervision is required at our public pool.
✅ Clear bags only allowed inside our pool.

Again, we are truly sorry for the inconvenience of closing the pool down today. However, safety for the public is our main priority and we will do everything we can along with the Hope Police Department to give the community a safe, enjoyable and family oriented parks system.

Thank you for your continued support!
