The food grown in the Scituate Rotary Community Garden is distributed to our neighbors in need through the Trinity Thrift Shop & Food Pantry and the Little Free Farmstand Hope Library RI. If you want to learn new gardening skills while helping your neighbors, please contact Hope Library Director, Cora Morrigan for more information at 821-7910. Our next community gardening day, Saturday, May 17 at 10 am behind the Scituate Senior Center, Generations at Chopmist Hill Inn and the Scituate Police Department.

We are also looking for donations from local growers of plants for the garden as well as enthusiastic volunteers to help tend and harvest the plants.

Come visit the Hope Library to see the historic Hope Furnace cannon up close all week long! Take a self-guided tour, explore local history, and celebrate 250 years of independence with your own 3D printed cannon to take home!
