The deadline to apply for the Artist Support Grant is THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2021 @ 12NOON.

Grants of $500 to $1,000 will fund the professional development of emerging and established artists from Cumberland, Hoke, Robeson, Sampson, and Scotland Counties. Artists can use grant funds to enhance skills or improve their business operations. Applicants may include artists of visual, craft, performing, traditional, and interdisciplinary art forms.

THIS SATURDAY!!!!! Come out to Hope Mills Lake from 9am-4pm to bring awareness to veteran suicides. VSAPS (Veteran Su***de Awareness Prevention) and GallantFew are conducting a 2.2 mile swim in Hope Mills Lake!!! This is to highlight the fact that some statistics indicate that close to 22 veterans take their lives each day.

Not interested in the swim? No problem! There will also be family oriented vendors, a water slide, and FOOD TRUCKS!!! The Town of Hope Mills is closing down N Main Street at Hope Mills Lake for this event and the food trucks will be located in the street.
