⚓️ Sail Into Middle School Camp was a huge success! ⚓️

Our future Buccaneers spent the week learning, creating, and having fun while exploring what middle school is all about!

Students:
🗺️ Practiced map skills by touring the school and creating their own maps
🇺🇸 Researched historical events and designed quilt squares to commemorate America's 250th anniversary
🧪 Became chemists by identifying substances through chemical reactions
⚙️ Put their engineering skills to the test by building structures ranging from catapults to Ferris wheels
🔍 Used inference and critical thinking skills to solve a Lunch Lady Murder Mystery
🎨 Expressed their emotions through watercolor artwork inspired by poetry
📐 Combined math and creativity by making origami boxes and mathematical stars

We loved watching our students collaborate, problem-solve, and build confidence as they prepared for their middle school journey. A special thank you to our amazing teachers, staff, and Simmons Middle School PTO who made this week such a memorable experience!
